Third Eye Books Accessories & Gifts LLC was founded in 2019 in Portland Oregon by Michelle Lewis and Charles Hannah. Our vision is to be the number one supplier of African Centered books, accessories and gifts in the Portland Metro Area. We believe our products can be used as a tool to motivate, inspire, restore or enhance a persons cultural pride and to bring forth happiness and healing into the hearts of our customers.

Special Orders / Bulk Order Purchases
Do you offer special book order or bulk book order request?
Yes indeed! We can and will attempt to locate and find your request through our nationwide network of warehouses. We have access to millions of titles. We can supply classrooms, book clubs, public/private schools, universities, corporations, and much more. Submit your form today and we will check stock for availability for the books on your bulk order or special book request today.
Please submit a Bulk Book Order & Special Book Order Request Form (The form can be found on the home page of our website) for any book(s) that you may not find online or at our retail space.

Do I still need to pay for shipping when placing a bulk book order or special book order that will be shipped for in-store pick up?
Yes. shipping and handling fees will still be applied to all bulk and special book orders regardless if the order is being shipped or if the order is being picked-up at our retail location.
How much are the shipping and handling fees for bulk and special book orders?
Customers are charged $5.50 for the first book with a charge of $.50 for each additional book on the order. there is $2.00 handling fee that we charge for processing and preparing the order.
How do I order a Pre-Order book title?
Our site offers many pre-order books that have not yet been released by the publishers. Your order will typically ship within 2-3 days of the release date shown. Keep in mind that release dates are subject to change and we will update you via email, if were notified about a change in the release date. If you do not see preorder titles on our website that you want to purchase please submit a special book order request form and we will send you and invoice for payment.
Can I pick up a book instore that I saw online?
All books that are listed online may not be physically in our store however we will be happy to check our stock in the event that it is available we will hold the book for 24 hours. If the book title is NOT available instore we will be happy to ship the book to customer(s) via our Direct to Home Service program (shipping & handling fees will apply).
How long do you hold special orders that are being held for instore pick-up?
We will hold your order at our store for 7 days unless you have called to make other arrangements. Book order(s) that are not picked up within that time frame will be restocked and NO REFUND or CREDIT will be given.

Shipping Schedule / Local Pickup FAQ
Thank you for shopping local. Our goal is to get your item out fast as possible. Please be advised book orders MAY require more time to be delivered via USPS due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts.
Local delivery times may average 3 - 10 business days depending on availability of titles. However book orders that are shipped from out of state via our Direct to Home service may take 5 - 10 days especially if weather conditions in certain states are the cause for the delay.
We use USPS to ship all packages customers will receive a tracking number to track the ETA of their order once its been shipped.
Estimated shipping arrival dates are not guaranteed and there may be a number of unforeseen reasons why your items may arrive after the estimated arrival date. Third Eye Book Accessories and Gifts Bookstore is not responsible for shipping delays caused by holidays, peak times of the year, inclement weather, or any other "acts of God."
Third Eye Books is not responsible for lost/stolen/misdelivered packages once the order has been shipped via USPS.
We do not ship on the following holidays:
New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?Yes, we do ship to both Alaska and Hawaii.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally. We only ship to US addresses.
Do you ship to military addresses?
Please note that USPS shipments are not a guaranteed level of service and delivery times can vary from 1 - 5 weeks depending on the destination.
How long do you hold books that have paid for instore pick-up?
Once payment for your book order has been received your order will be held for you for 7 business days for instore pick-up after it is ready. If a customer is unable to pick-up their book order within that timeframe it is the customer's responsbiity to contact the store to make other arrangments. Please be advised that book orders that are NOT picked up after 7 days will be returned to stock and no refund will be issued.

FAQ
How do I return a book for a refund?
In the event that you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will accept returns for in-store credit within 7 days from the date of purchase. (excluding shipping cost for books that were shipped via our Direct to Home Service plus a 10% restocking fee) The item(s) must be returned clean and in good condition with original packaging In order. Customers will be issued a E-Gift card for the purchase amount minus any shipping and restocking fees.
* For all returns this includes online purchases, the customer is responsible for costs of return shipping. We recommend you return your items using an insured and traceable method. We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged during the return transit.
* Special order items that are not usually carried and have been ordered specifically at your request may not be returned.
Please allow 7 - 14 days to process your return. Please be advised when returning your order with a note and/or the packing slip make sure that we have your order number, email and phone contact just in case we have to contact you regarding your return.

Do you offer exchanges?
No. we do not offer exchanges for book(s) or non-book related items once they have been purchased.
Do you offer exchanges/refunds on bulk book orders?
We DO NOT offer exchanges or refunds on bulk book orders all sales are FINAL. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the quantities and shipping address is correct at the the time payment is being made for all bulk book orders. we strongly encourage our customers to review the invoice to make sure all is correct before payment is made.
